Ashley O'Neill

Ashley O’Neill is a writer and the editor in-chief for The Savvy Source, a website devoted to parenting and early childhood education. Before joining with Savvy, Ashley was a Lecturer in English at Southern Methodist University, where she spent her days teaching college freshmen the finer points of reading and writing about literature. She is ABD on a Ph.D. in 20th Century American Fiction and Feminist Theory, and wishes she could write like Faulkner. In addition to spending lots of time reading, writing, and being a mother of two, Ashley is a devotee of music that reminds her of her youth, quality television (which always seems to get canceled), blockbuster movies, the world of science fiction, preparing for the zombie apocalypse, and seeking out the news of the world.
