She has almost never been called by her real name: Joanna. She is known as Asia [ah sh uh] or Jo. 

Currently based in Amsterdam, she is a devoted globetrotter with a passion for fashion, events, good food and social media. Asia is also an enthusiastic street photographer and shares her iPhoneography work under 'boa eats elephant'
on the photo sharing site InstaGram. This unusual profile name has nothing to do with cruelty, it simply refers to a drawing of a hat from her favorite book: The Little Prince. 

Asia loves photowalking and capturing brief moments of life with her regular lens or iPhone camera. She enjoys shooting environmental portraits in natural light, hoping to create images that record the play of casual observation, expressions and emotions.

Asia's photos reflect her believe that life, by definition, is movement. People cross each other in sillence or joy, hurry or worry, always on the run to make or save time.
