Fundamentally a Software Engineer, held variety of roles & positions in areas of Engineering & Architecture. My passion involves around scaling distributed systems empowering the internet products. I have Bachelors and Masters Engineering degrees from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). I enjoy solving complex problems in such a way that they turn out to be cost effective and scalable by design. I believe in doing things and that has made me very hands on with technology in general. My philosophy is to execute faster as possible and improve quality of product by experiencing it in the very first run. Some of my area of expertise are around Performance optimization of distributed systems, deployment and monitoring of heterogeneous cloud infrastructure. I have been offering duties as Bigdata & Cloud Solutions Subject Matter Expert (SME) currently at Cisco Systems. Prior to Cisco, I held key technical positions at Yume, Ebay, Yahoo, Verizon.My focus currently is to integerate Bigdata solutions into Openstack cloud private and public cloud infrastructure. My day to day job involves writing tons of code, troubleshooting complex stack traces, architecture optimization and using analytical skill to find solution to problems in hand. Beside work I enjoy working for the betterment of humanity, spreading effective knowledge around computer science to masses.
