I am a breast surgical oncologist and assistant professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia with a passion for excellent clinical care, innovative research, and medical education.
My training included a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
I am a former Teach For America Corps Member, and I continue to be involved in the education of medical students, surgical residents, and breast surgical oncology fellows.
Professionally, I serve on multiple committees with the American College of Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, and American Society of Breast Surgeons. I am also a site reviewer for the National Accreditation Program of Breast Centers.
I am a True Blue Franklin & Marshall College alumnus, a member of the Alumni Board, and have been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus.
In my free time, I enjoy running, cooking and eating good food, and savoring life at our home and garden in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia.
