Ministry in Austin, Texas

I am a gentle producer who delights in serving others by orchestrating environments and encouraging people so others experience the gospel.

I have a passion for music, children, and men's ministry.

I love to use my God-given abilities to serve others, especially children. When I was a young teen, I loved serving elementary kids – leading Sunday morning classes and heading up worship. In 2013, I was blessed with the opportunity to be the Towers Summer Camp worship band guitarist at Pine Cove, located in Tyler, TX. I returned the summer of 2014 to serve on the worship team again. I returned again in 2015, but rather than serving on the worship team, I was a part of the leadership team as the Work Crew Director.

Through my love of guitar and music, I discovered audio engineering. I love being able to mix live sound and record it in the studio in order to help other musicians be heard. I graduated in 2015 with a degree in Audio Engineering from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Both the city and school have provided me with many opportunities to learn and grow in my musical and engineering abilities.

After three summers at Pine Cove and four years at Belmont, I felt led to pursue full time ministry. When I first moved to Nashville four years ago, I never imagined I'd be seeking a career in vocational ministry, especially after studying Audio Engineering for so long. However, throughout my journey, I’ve been deeply and consistently called to serve in this capacity. I love the kids. I love sharing the gift of music through worship. I love serving God by serving children and their families. I love the creating a space where children can hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

To prepare for a lifetime of ministry, I went through the Forge, a program at Pine Cove Christian Camps, after graduating from college. This program focused on discovering and developing my God given design and good works God has prepared for me in my life.

Following the Forge, I moved to Austin, TX where I served as the Children's Ministry Resident at Austin Oaks Church. It is here I was introduced to Orange Curriculum and the model of the church partnering with parents. Their philosophy of 2 influences working for the same goal will have a greater impact than 2 individual influences has shaped how I view my work with children and families.

Presently, I am the Children's Ministry Director at the Brushy Creek Campus of Hill Country Bible Church in Round Rock, TX.
