Me. Ava Chisling

Ava is a bilingual, award-winning lawyer and editor with extensive business experience in Canada, the UK, Japan and Switzerland. She has worked with some of Canada's most respected companies, including Air Canada, Quebecor, CBC-TV, and Just for Laughs.

Ava has negotiated contracts for Academy Award winners, Grammy nominees, film production companies, advertising agencies, animation houses, publishers, retailers, and many other creative-media clients worldwide.

With big-firm training (BLG) and years of in-house advisory experience (eg. StyleXchange, BG Communications, YBP), Ava advises clients on many issues. She is actively involved in contract negotiation and drafting for the music, film, and publishing industries, among others.

As the former Editor of the Mirror and Strut, and ex Executive Editor of enRoute Magazine, Ava publishes frequently in Canadian Lawyer and in the CBA's Addendum. Her work has appeared in Time Out London, Royal Wings, AOL, and Cycle Canada to name a few.
