Avana Vana

Hi, I live in New York City, and I primarily work as graphic designer and interaction designer.

I am an architect by education having earned my Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University. My work is focused on DIY architecture, sub-cultural and liminal territories, memory, identity, and subversive psycho-geography.

I am also a voracious record collector and dj, focused on post-punk, wave, synthpop, psych, folk, and industrial music. My selections can be heard regularly around the city at various events, and I host and dj my own regular night, INVOCATION, second Thursdays at Tandem in Brooklyn.
