Amy Wichman

Education Administrator in Central Iowa, serving as Regional Director at Heartland AEA. Prior experience includes Director of Innovation & Instruction, TLC Program Lead, Director of At-Risk Services, and secondary educator. I've been lucky to have had the opportunity to spread my wings in education, working on projects and teams for the State of Iowa. Over the past sixteen years, I have worked as a university instructor, specifically at St. Ambrose University and Drake University, teaching various courses and supervising student teachers. My passion is technology implementation consulting, equity for rural schools, and motivating educators to take risks. "When was the last time you tried something for the first time?" My pride, joy and greatest consumers of time are my three wonderful children. My husband Jim and I engineer the "Wichman Crazy Train," laughing everyday along the way.
