Andrew Williamson is the Managing Partner of Cambridge Innovation Capital.

Cambridge Innovation Capital is a venture capital firm that invests in intellectual property rich companies from the University of Cambridge and the wider research and business community around the Cambridge region, known as the Cambridge Cluster.

As Managing Partner I oversee the funds' investment strategy and manage our relationships with shareholders, limited partners and strategic partners.

Before joining CIC I spent ten years in venture investing at Physic Ventures in San Francisco and True North Venture Partners in Chicago. Before moving into Venture Capital, I led a research group applying High Performance Computing to materials science at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Andrew has an MA and PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Andrew manages CIC's investments in Audio Analytic, AudioTelligence, Origami Energy, PragmatIC, Prowler.io, and Riverlane.
