Azi Vaziri leads technical programs across Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), a team focused on countering state-backed threats & coordinated disinformation operations, financially motivated cybercrime, and the exploitation of software vulnerabilities.
Before joining TAG in 2021, she worked on Google’s Safe Browsing, which protects 5+billion user devices around the world against phishing, malware, and unwanted software.
Outside of Google, Azi works actively against internet censorship and threats posed by repressive regimes to human rights workers and other high-risk users.
