"Barbara Paterson brings great comedy to the role of Cherubino, combining enthusiasm, audience rapport and high energy gymnastic prowess – all while singing effortlessly!" - Theatreview
"As Donna Anna, Barbara Paterson is also very well-cast. With steely voice, flexible coloratura and expressive movements...she owns the stage with her passionate delivery." - Theatreview
"...[Paterson] transforms her...beautiful aria "Ach, ich fühl's" into a revealing moment of vulnerability. With her attitude and agency slightly adjusted, Pamina becomes a complex and human character. Soprano Barbara Paterson performed Pamina's metamorphosis from angst-ridden teen to mature woman with commitment, singing with a clear, direct sound" - Opera News
