Barbara Treacy

Digital Learning Consultant and Instructor, Harvard Graduate School of Education in Massachusetts

Barbara Treacy is an experienced education leader and online and blended learning expert who has consulted with educational organizations across the country and designed successful online learning programs for states, districts, colleges, non-profits and for-profits, and a wide range of other educational organizations. Barbara is also a frequent speaker and facilitator at national, state and local conferences.

Barbara is also an Instructor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, teaching a graduate course on "Connected Teaching in the Digital Age".

Barbara is the former Director of EdTech Leaders Online, Education Development Center's national capacity building program for states, school districts, colleges and universities, non-profits and other organizations to build successful online and blended learning opportunities for teachers, leaders and students.

Barbara is currently consulting for educational organizations across the country in the areas of online and blended learning, digital leadership, digital curriculum development, and capacity building for implementation of new online learning models.

Barbara also serves as an advisor to a number of educational organizations including serving as chair of the Digital Learning Advisory Council to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Barbara is also an Advisor for the MIT Online Education Policy Initiative and for Project Tomorrow.
