Bart Bernhardt

I'm the co-founder of Nerd Nite SF, and an inveterate problem solver, mostly related to online advertising.

In 2010, with my co-boss Lucy Laird, I launched the San Francisco chapter of Nerd Nite, a worldwide monthly lecture-in-a-bar series. Since then, Nerd Nite SF has grown enough to sell out every month, spawned two sister events in the Bay Area, a monthly field trip spin-off, and collaborations with many outstanding public education institutions.

For a living, I do online advertising operations and analytics. Clients include Symantec, WebEx, Kurt Salmon, Freescale, and more.

Feeling the non-profit do-gooder bug, I also have done data analysis for the KIPP Foundation, a national network of public charter schools operating in underserved communities, and San Francisco General Hospital, developing an intranet app for morbidity and mortality data collection.

I live in San Francisco with my wonderful wife.
