Bel Explores
Explorer, educator, geographer, travel writer and dedicated conservationist—all of these titles describe Professor bel’s ability to share her great passion for travel and wildlife with others.
Always a modern day adventurer, Bel chose exploration as a career when selected as a senior offshore excursions officer aboard Cunard. Her lifelong fascination with wildlife has led her to extensive expeditions covering the remote corners of the world. During Bel’s tenure leading cruisers around the world, she has explored over 89 countries and territories on five continents – and the number keeps growing.
For the past two decades, she has dedicated herself to lecturing both on campus and on the world's oceans, writing, researching and photographing distant lands, wildlife and cultures as her career propels her about our planet. Exploring has been an integral part of her life for many years.
