Ben Tavener

Ben Tavener is a freelance TV reporter, producer and multimedia journalist, based in Brazil since 2011, with over eight years' experience covering news for TV, radio, news sites and agencies.

A freelance correspondent for BBC World News, Anadolu Agency, VICE News and Mashable, Ben has worked with many major outlets, including Al Jazeera America, CTV News and the BBC World Service, where he worked between 2006 and 2011.

Ben led international coverage during the 2013 protests, 2014 World Cup and elections, and now the Petrobras scandal and the run-up to the Olympics.
