I am an explorer, a tester, a proverbial out-of-box thinker. My background is in biological & environmental sciences, which have provided me a rich learning of research, analysis, and critical thinking. My creative side could not be outdone and has spurred my interest in a different vertical, that of communications and marketing.

I grew up with landlines, playing the original Oregon Trail, and was a beta tester in the rise of Google, Facebook and Twitter. I am fascinated with technology and how it impacts every facet of life from behavioral science and health to environment and transportation. From a wayward path, I have wandered into social media, branding strategy, storytelling and the events marketing space, honing in on my creative and analytical talents I acquired from my diverse career.

I've traveled to 20+ countries, hold a MA from the University of Queensland and a BA from Smith College, and a Native Vermonter but now reside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I blog, I tweet, I take photos. Lots of photos.
