Bharti Jogia-Sattar

A financial executive and accountant with more than 15 years of experience in her field, Bharti Jogia-Sattar currently operates as an independent consultant in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. With a broad expertise in financial and corporate management, Ms. Jogia-Sattar set the stage for her career while an undergraduate at Bryn Mawr College and later, Eastern Michigan University. Following receipt of her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Chemistry from Eastern Michigan, she relocated to Los Angeles and continued her professional training through an accounting certification program at UCLA. In 1995, Ms. Jogia-Sattar joined the staff at Total Real Estate Management, where she spent the next three-plus years in accounting roles of progressive seniority. At the end of this period, Bharti Jogia-Sattar accepted an offer to serve as Assistant Controller with Glenwood Financial Group Inc., during which time she handled all manner of financial and accounting responsibilities for a substantial real estate portfolio. From Glenwood Financial, Ms. Jogia-Sattar entered into a dual role as Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer of PL Acquisition Inc. and Realty Accounting & Financial Services, Inc., performing in these capacities over the next four years. Building upon her expertise in the real estate investment market, Bharti Jogia-Sattar became Assistant Controller of Centro Watt American REIT in 2004 where she oversaw various accounting and finance activities for assets in excess of $2 billion. Two years later, she joined Countrywide Capital Markets as a Vice President and Controller, managing a substantial commercial loan inventory from 2006 through 2008. Most recently, Bharti Jogia-Sattar spent three years as a Vice President and Controller with Lions Gate Entertainment, in which she served as an integral financial link between all company divisions. Today, Ms. Jogia-Sattar consults with various firms, providing hands-on leadership in financial reporting, process automation, mergers and acquisitions, and other areas.
