I retired as Chairman cum Managing Director of Kamarajar Port Limited ( A Major Port under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India) on 31st July 2017. I worked in that post from 22nd December 2012. Also I was Vice Chairman of Indian Ports Association, New Delhi

My Board level experience in Major Ports include as Deputy Chairman in Kandla Port Trust for 4 years, Dy.Chairman of New Mangalore Port Trust for 2 years 9 months and Dy.Chairman of Kolkata Port Trust for over 4 years.

I was holding additional charge of Chairman of Kandla Port Trust and Chennai Port Trust, CVO at Kolkata Port Trust and New Mangalore Port Trust. I was Nominee Directors in Hassan Mangalore Rail Development Company Limited, Kutch Railway Company Limited and Sethusamudram Corporation Ltd.

In the beginning of my service in Port sector, I worked at New Mangalore Port Trust as Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer for about 9 years.

Born on 12-07-1957 ( 65 years of age) in Kolar District of Karnataka. I am B.Com., MBA and FCMA

Visited International ports in Netherlands, Belgium, France and UK, Singapore, Germany and Japan.

Attended a two months course titled International seminar on Port Management at Delft, Netherlands during 1998 and also Seminars in Dubai, Germany and France and inter Government meeting in Nepal.

Experienced in Port Management, Financial Management, Port Planning and Project Management, Contract management, Industrial Relations, Environmental issues, PPP projects, drafting User agreements, Policy formulations, Automation, Training, Information Technology, ISPS, ISO and Liaising with State and Central Government authorities, Alternative Dispute Resolutions and so on.

I have passed a certificate course on Arbitration conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

At present I am working as Arbitrator Conciliator. I have been empanel as Arbitrator and conciliator by various organisations including Indian Ports Association.

I was one of the Arbitrators in Arbitral Tribunal along with two other retired High court judges. Now I am handing one Arbitration case as a Presiding Arbitrator in the Arbitration Tribunal

I have also worked as Conciliator in two cases including the one which is on going.
