In short, Not just another pretty face....

I am PhD graduate student, currently working as a Research Associate at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, Delaware. My lab focuses on the signaling pathways, including molecular and cellular mechanisms of crypt homeostasis in the large intestine as well as the investigation of the stem cell origin of colorectal cancer. I work as a research associate on the understanding role of HOX genes in regulating stem cell populations in normal and malignant colon tissue. I have done my masters in Microbiology and also pursuing Master in Business Administration at the University of Delaware.

Born at one of the cultural and educational cities of India, I grew up with developing interest in various art forms. Writing poems was one of those days in school and college, which I remember the most. They say, Dance like no one is watching but I believe dance like your soul is dancing. Dance is something that makes me really happy and brings smile on my face. I have recently developed interest in photography and I would love to catch each and every moment in my little camera when I am doing my favorite time pass, travelling.
