I am fortunate to be able to practice so many things that bring me joy.

Learning and writing about new topics, places and people is incredibly fulfilling.

Creative problem solving for the web is an art and science that fascinates me, and I enjoy developing solutions, pondering design and social mediums, and studying web usability.

Music is my lifelong passion: I have been singing and playing guitar for almost 20 years. In the past year I've also picked up the mandolin and ukulele, and am currently seeking new band projects.

Ideas surfacing from popular science, history and urban planning (and the interesting tangles in between) are often on my mind.

I aspire to travel the world (and, if I could only figure out how, space and time).
