Bianca Consunji

Bianca Consunji is a journalist and video producer at Mashable. She has met many Internet-famous animals in the course of her work.

A graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, she was a Jack R. Howard fellow for international journalism. Bianca received the Richard J. Blood award for Investigative Journalism/Hard News, plus Best in Multimedia Storytelling.

Originally from Manila, Philippines, Bianca was associate editor of ABS-CBN Publishing's Metro Magazine, and a correspondent of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, City Limits, nymag.com, the Gothamist, AOL, and the New York Post, among others.

A member of the European Youth Press, Bianca was trained in international media, ethics, and online journalism in Germany. She reports on culture, technology, education and international news, and enjoys doing written and video profiles.
