I want to ask questions and tell stories in all manner of media: television, radio and online.

My day job is as a newscast producer for WPRI-TV/WNAC-TV in Providence, RI (most days, one of the main brains behind Eyewitness News at Noon), and writing stories for the station website, WPRI.com. I've also worked in Hartford, CT, with internships at commercial television stations in Boston, MA and Portland, OR. My experience also includes volunteering with public television and public radio.

Besides writing about other people, I'm a media buff, especially on international media -- and frequent trivia hound. I love to travel -- and would love to get paid for it! In the past I have produced and written satire and comedy.

I'm one of those Emerson College people, as well as a graduate of the Catlin Gabel School in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in Beaverton, a suburb outside Portland. I am a member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association.
