Professional drum teacher, musician, and public school educator Bill Ctibor has held a number of positions in various sectors of the education system throughout his career, which spans numerous decades. Most recently in the public school sector, Bill Ctibor worked with the Distance Learning and Correspondence Departments of Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona. His role was to update and modify school curriculum in order to meet state and federal guidelines. Prior to this position, Mr. Ctibor served Paradise Valley High School and the Mesa Public Schools as an English Instructor, focusing on providing students with a solid formal background in writing, speech, grammar, literature, and other areas. Bill Ctibor possesses a Master of Secondary Education from Arizona State University, where he continued to earn graduate hours after the completion of his Master’s degree. Before earning his Master’s, he completed a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate degree from Cerritos College in California. In addition to holding numerous degrees, Mr. Ctibor has earned a number of professional teaching certificates as well, including several from Arizona in Secondary English Education, Physical Education, and Reading Education, among others. Today, Bill Ctibor serves as a private drum teacher and tutor to musicians with diverse musical interests and varying levels of skill. Offering specializations in numerous areas, Mr. Ctibor is capable of providing his students with many desirable elements of drums mastery, including a strong foundation in the fundamentals of band and orchestra music, sight-reading technique, trap set usage, and soloing in genres like jazz and rock. In the past, Bill Ctibor has taught music at the Linton-Milano Music Center and has recorded or performed with a number of noted musicians, including Barry White, The Rivingtons, The Rip Chords, Jackie DeShannon, and others.
