I have been around the bend and back again. I am an artist interested in investigating blackness in all forms. Spiritually, sexually, culturally etcetera. I am also interested in performance theory. How we choose to dress, speak, and perform our gender speaks volumes. I have been a scholar, singer, dancer, actor, choreographer, dishwasher, clerk, director, legal recruiter, administrator, and fan of Eartha Kitt. I toured the country in musicals and love the intersections of my life. They include blackness, theatre, faith, and sexuality. All of these identities spur creativity and form the foundation of my research and focus. I am a proud member of AEA.
