Abraham Benjamin aka Honest Abe is a Brooklyn, New York native. He is an Author/ Poet and also a budding musician. He released his first book of poetry called “Unlocked Thoughts of a Prophet’s Temple: Humble Beginnings” in January 2012. He also has a CD, released July 2011, called “Brooklyn’s Lost Son: Prelude to the Road to Redemption.”

To his credit, he has had his work published in college art magazines, and feature collaborative Spoken Word albums. He has progressed as a Spoken Word artist, featuring in such venues as Time Square Arts Center, Bridgeport Innovation Center, The Brooklyn Book Festival and the Harlem Book Fair. He has also won back to back collegiate slams at the Bowery Poetry Club. His most recent endeavors includes a feature at The Black Poetry Café Poetry fest, a televised feature on Poetry TV presents The Cypher’s Den (Executive Produced by Eric “Crow” Draven), and hosted a weekly radio show on Talkshoe called Penology Ink’s Love Banter. Also, was recently spotlighted on Comedian, poet and author, Shawn Cornelius's Expressions of love and Romance on http://wwwRhythmandrhymeradio.com and the critically acclaimed Epiphany Castro’s, “Epiphany’s House”. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
