I was born and raised on the South side of Chicago, DeMarlo "BlackSkinny" Hatchett; I'm a performing artist committed to the Hip-Hop culture. From an early age, I enjoyed performing impressions of my favorite artists such as; NWA, Public Enemy, Tupac, Rakim, Biggie, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg and other recording artist. My friends and I would often get together and act out scenes from our favorite music videos.

By the age of 16, I had developed my own style, a uniquely crafted blend of words and beats to tell of what I witnessed growing up in the "Hood," and what i had to overcome. I was deeply influenced by the traditional elements of Hip-Hop music, and the genres cultural integrity served as a source of inspiration fueling my determination to create a career in the rough and tumble music industry.

After being a victim of multiple gunshot wounds and surviving a brief incarceration at Vienna Correctional Center in Illinois, I was determined upon release to turn my life around through the power of prayer, and the positive influence of Hip-Hop music and i have a clothing line called kush kid collectiblez it's different cartoon characters named after different strains of marijuana check out my stuff www.kushkidcollectiblez.com .
