A geek entrepreneur at heart, I cut my teeth on Apple IIs, Commodore and Amiga computers before AOL and the Internet became the platform for connectivity and innovation.

Today, I'm leading #cleanweb movement which seeks to answer pressing resource issues related to energy, transportation, waste, water and climate change.

Since 2005, I've organized grassroots technology events like Barcamp; was a founding organizer iPhoneDevCamp; and have produced several Facebook Developer Garages. I was also the first recipient of Facebook's fbFund back in 2008.

I've been fascinated by alternative energy since reading about Amory Lovins' passive solar home in Popular Science and building my first solar hot dog cooker in the 4th grade.

I'm into fitness, nutrition, cycling, cooking and hanging out with my family when not traveling to evangelize Cleanweb.
