Tennessee

Hi there! Welcome to my blog. My writings will be about various "going ons" in my life. I was born in Orlando, Florida, but have lived in Tennessee for about eleven years now. I am twenty-three years old. You will learn very quickly that my husband is my best friend and besides my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the part of my life I am most proud of is my five year old daughter.

Oh and you will also learn pretty quickly or have already learned that my grammar is far from perfect. I write so many papers and essays for school I guess I like a place like this blog where I don't have to be meticulous or concerned about those kinds of things. I am currently a college student and studying vocal performance. Musical theatre is my favorite to perform, but I absolutely love sacred choral music. Oh and Eric Whitacre. I love Eric Whitacre. It's okay my husband knows about my musical crush. :)

I am also a music intern at my church and have found such love/enjoyment in worship through choral music there. Brian(my husband) and I have been blessed to recently have found a home in this church. As Brian said "The church is not very big, but their presence in the community is." That is my favorite part.

I have two sisters and one brother. They are all Wack-a-doos. I love them all dearly and you will get to hear quite a bit about them on here. Then there's my mother who calls herself my biggest fan, but I'm pretty sure my husband would argue with that. I am really close to my in-laws as well.

My hobbies consist of reading, writing, crafting, running & yoga. I love being outdoors. I would say biking and hiking are my favorites. My all time favorite thing to do besides perform is travel. I've been to Europe three times and will go a fourth time this spring. I will talk a lot about my former and future adventures.

I will write about my journey with Christ. I'm a work in progress and find life not easier but better when I choose to live in fearful worship for him. My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:4. "Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say rejoice." My dad first introduced me to the book of Philippians and I find it refreshing yet painfully convicting.

Warning: I will talk a lot about The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Disney, France, and being on a vegan diet. Oh and I want to be a Disney princess. No, I am not joking.
