Brahma Kumaris

With global headquarters in Madhuban, India, the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University accepts students from over 100 countries around the world, offering them spirituality-based courses on raja yoga, meditation, positive thinking, and spiritual knowledge. Brahma Kumaris also maintains more than 8,500 locations worldwide, and the nonprofit organization offers spiritual retreats in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, the Philippines, India, Kenya, and Italy.

Along with serving in an educational capacity, Brahma Kumaris also remains dedicated to a number of global initiatives, such as those associated with health care, the environment, global leadership, and the media. The organization maintains a consultative status with several agencies of the United Nations, including UNICEF and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). In addition, the organization is an accredited observer to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and works with the UN Department of Public Information.
