A recent graduate of Grand Valley State University with a degree in Health Communication. I believe health and wellness should be important to everyone, and I believe health education and patient advocacy are the best ways to promote a healthy lifestyle.

As a young professional of an emerging generation, i do my best to educate myself on some of the issues that affect the people of my city. I am a 2012 graduate of the Emerging Leaders Series, a leadership development program under the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. I earned my nonprofit board certification from the Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in 2012, and I currently volunteer time to the board of directors at Friends and Family of Cystic Fibrosis.

I have a secret love for social media, and one of my favorite things about life is the chance to meet and network with people from across world.
