Breadtopia

Endeavoring to help bakers learn more about the proper techniques of bread baking, Breadtopia offers video tutorials, lessons, recipes, and a question-and-answer section for individuals on its website. Breadtopia, which uses the catchphrase "for the love of bread," is the brainchild of Eric and Denyce Rusch, who were married in 1994.

After Eric and Denyce started Rusch Advertising Design in 2004, Breadtopia quickly became the firm's premier project. This narrowing of focus is attributed to the owners' love of baking and community-centered undertakings. Breadtopia was designed to be a place where bread makers could share stories and recipes with each other. It was not long before Breadtopia met and exceeded those expectations. Today, the company's website offers bread bakers a sense of community, an extended family, and a place to conduct dialogue about which bread-making methods work best.

On the Breadtopia website, visitors can access several helpful features. The website lists recommended books for different bread-baking techniques like no-knead baking and the tartine bread-making procedure. The "baker's store" area of the website provides links for kitchen tools, bread-making supplies, pizza supplies, accessories, grains and flours, and even gift ideas for the bread baker in the family. The Breadtopia website also offers gift certificates.

Videos posted most recently on the Breadtopia website include a report on a visit to the School of Artisan Food; a campfire bread preparation tutorial; and a guide on couronne Bordelaise bread baskets. To view these videos, or to explore other offerings at Breadtopia, visit www.breadtopia.com.
