My name is Bree Martino and I am a Full Sail University graduate. On June 6th, 2014 I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Business. I currently run a music blog titled Follow The Bands that keeps fans up-to-date on new tours and albums from bands in the Pop-Punk and Alternative genres. In the past I've worked as a Street Marketing Representative for the company The Syndicate and have volunteered at music festivals including Vans Warped Tour and the Florida Music Festival.

I am originally from New Hampshire and currently reside in Texas. I am an organized and dedicated hardworker and dreamer. I moved to Austin due in part to my passion for live music. I want my career to contribute to the music community and bringing live music to fans. I want to do this by promoting young artists as well as working in venues and putting on shows.

While on my path towards this career, I started suffering from severe pain and many other symptoms. It turned out I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that devastatingly affected my quality of living and what I was physically capable of. After years of searching for answers and being incapable of living the life I've dreamed due to my health, I am finally finding ways to manage the illness and get back a better quality of living.

While I still aim to be in the industry at some point, right now my body is not physically capable of that. Until the day I can dedicate my life and career to the live music industry, I have a few projects that my body is more accepting of.

Along with Follow The Bands, I also do some freelance writing. I have taken up yoga and am active on social media as an advocate for awareness of various invisible illnesses. Recently I started up a small online jewelry business, Stones For Monday, where I handle all of the production, social media, customer service, purchases, packaging, and shipping myself.

I really believe that we are greatly influenced and defined by what we are passionate about, and if you care about something you should embrace it. You will find success if you truly care about what you do.
