Bret LaFontan

I started out in New York City at the BBC doing PR for BBC Worldwide home video. I spent my nights following my passion, performing in improv comedy, Off Off broadway plays, movies, and writing comedy with sketch teams from Second City and The UCB. After the BBC I worked at Viacom writing and producing International videos for MTV, NICK, MTV2, Comedy Central, and Viacom.

While working at MTV in 2004, I started writing more videos for the web, uploading comedy videos, and promoting shows through social media. After leaving MTV, I continued to focus on producing, writing, and building my social media marketing skills.

In 2011 I moved to Sydney Australia and worked in an Agency and as a video producer, writer and social media strategist. It was an amazing opportunity and allowed me to write TV commercials, travel around APAC, and work directly with large brands to build their social strategy.

I now live and work in Austin Texas. Lets get coffee.
