U.S. journalist based since 1995 in Europe, where I've worked for three newswires – Interfax (bureau chief); the Inter Press Service (EU correspondent); and the Czech Press Agency (reporter) – and various publications (Sofia Echo, Central European Business Weekly, etc.). Before moving to Europe, I worked in the UN bureau of the Asahi Shimbun and for the Charlie Rose Show (both in New York) and for the ABC news affiliate WJLA-TV in Washington, DC.
