I am a chronic code geek, tech entrepreneur and problem solver currently based in Austin, TX. Originally trained as a global change biologist and tundra botanist, my professional and technical interests are primarily focused on making new technology relevant and "sticky" through solution architecture, team development, and evangelism. I have a particular affinity for mapping, visualization, and analytics. I believe technology can revolutionize health care, public safety, transportation and other verticals. I'm currently working in the startup and innovation space to help enterprises unlock the geographic component of business information. I'm convinced that "mobile is the new black" and sensors and connected devices are disrupting the way life gets done.
