Brian Shechtman

Florida-based entrepreneur Brian Shechtman operates Santa's Enchanted Forest, a Christmas-themed amusement park in Miami. Open daily from early November until mid-January, the park features hundreds of attractions including rides, shows, and South Florida's tallest Christmas tree. With carnival games, festive music, and a plethora of colorful Christmas light displays, Mr. Shechtman has built a family-friendly place to celebrate the holidays. As the park's owner, Brian Shechtman holds responsibility for Santa’s Enchanted Forest’s daily operations as well as marketing campaigns and vendor contracts. He frequently travels to the country's largest festivals, choosing attractions such as sea lion shows to bring to home to the park. Brian Shechtman supports his personal and humanitarian interests as the owner and operator of Santa's Enchanted Forest and also works closely with a number of charities. In 2011, Mr. Shechtman sponsored visits to the park for organizations including the Broward Children's Comprehensive Care Center, the Ronald McDonald House, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, and the Honey Shine Mentoring Program. Mr. Shechtman donates personally to several organizations including Mount Sinai Medical Center and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. He also supports several food banks in his hometown of Miami. An athletic individual, he remains active as a volunteer tennis instructor and football coach. Mr. Shechtman enjoys spending his spare time traveling, especially to Colorado, New York, and the Bahamas. A lover of the beach, he also finds pleasure in reading and fishing.
