I retired after 32 years of making payroll and enjoyed every minute. I've been a Master of Ceremonies at family weddings, Santa Claus at schools and clubs and chief prankster, when the opportunity presents. For Santa bookings, email
For relaxation, I write stuff.....in fact, i've contributed to the Toronto Star, Toronto Sun and the New York Times. I tend to write about justice issues knowing that our constitutionally-guaranteed right to freedom of speech; our right to vigorous debate, our acceptance of divergent opinion as well as our right to change channels whenever we choose are inalienable rights that our father's and grandfather's fought and died for! My background includes receiving the 2007 Ontario Attorney General Victim Service Award for my work with victims of crime, like domestic violence and well before that, I majored in Journalism, Centennial College. Here is a statement of my ethics and coverage policies. Over many years, my writing has morphed into my twitter..

to initiate discussion among my 3,000+/- Twitter followers of issues that affect each of us. My Mom's family settled on Ontario in 1830 while my Dad's early family settled in Eastern Ontario in the mid 1790's and both were in the Stagecoach business. From 1943 to 1945, my Mom was one of the crew that built 430 WW2 Lancaster Bombers at Victory Aircraft, Malton, ON. while Dad was one of the youngest Pilot Officers in the RCAF. In the early 1950's, Mom worked in Willowdale Real Estate while Dad was a Toronto Police Officer so I tend to be cautious by nature and possibly could be accused of seeing events through a particular filter. That said, nobody.in any group has influence on or access to my writings, both those in draft or published. I also add a direct attribution link for disclosure when my posts include another writer's content about the people that I cover. I'm from Toronto, Canada and my goal in writing is to enable my readers to be informed through thought-provoking discussion. I review a variety of news sources and attempt to separate fact from fiction. I'm unafraid, loquacious, eloquent and sagacious! I talk politics, economics, music, travel, sports.....whatever.<
