Brittany Martin

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States

Brittany Martin is the Lead Ruby Developer for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and a Rails Mentor for Bloc.io. She is focused on bringing more women into tech and finding a way to cast her chocolate lab as Alf's stand-in for the inevitable Netflix reboot.

She completed her MBA at Robert Morris University and a Ruby on Rails apprenticeship with Bloc.io. For the past two years, she has lived in San Francisco but has recently returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.

She loves Women Who Code, GIFs in pull requests, technical podcasts, strong coffee and fitness bootcamps.

Her goal is to meet new, ambitious people. Follow her on Twitter or connect with her on LinkedIn.

"An artist is someone who uses bravery, insight, creativity, and boldness to challenge the status quo. And an artist takes it personally."
