Brittany Kuecker

A lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Brittany Kuecker strives to set a good example for her peers. By joining this community service organization, Brittany Kuecker attends functions at the South Dakota State Convention, where she can meet and share experiences with other members of the organization. In addition to her volunteer work, Brittany Kuecker maintains a full schedule as a student at South Dakota State University. With more than 12,000 students, SDSU represents a significant change of pace from Brittany’s home town of Florence, South Dakota, which is home to just 299 people. Brittany Kuecker also works full-time while pursuing her studies. Before attending college, Brittany Kuecker earned solid grades in high school and stood out as a member of the Oral Interpretation Program. Traveling to compete at speech events at other high schools around the state, Brittany Kuecker lettered in the program all four years. She also took part in her school’s gymnastics program, which provided her with excellent fitness, coordination, and posture. As she begins to think about life after college, Brittany Kuecker maintains ties to the Lutheran Church. As a teen, she completed the Confirmation program and still considers herself a member of New Helgen Lutheran Church in Florence.
