Trained in technical theatre and film/TV design before completing a BA (Hons) in Moving Image at the North Wales School of Art & Design.
Founded Chat Noir Productions in 2003.
In the company’s early years, also served on the management team of one of the UK’s largest visitor attractions, overseeing its Audio‑Visual systems. Stepped away from that role as Chat Noir grew.

Alongside company work, held freelance roles on major television productions including Hollyoaks, Doctors and Primeval

Today
Whilst working, is typically behind a camera or in the edit suite, delivering the latest creative commissions for Chat Noir Productions.
In down time, can be found cheering on from the bleachers at a British basketball game, navigating the joyful chaos of family life, or heading to the Scottish Highlands for the occasional windswept family adventure in the place his wife calls home.
