Once I discovered there was more to cuisine than cooking potatoes 40 different ways, I left the shores of Dublin Bay for America to pursue a career that incorporated food, drink and good conversation.
Armed with degrees in Communications and Business Studies, I have honed a career in strategic food and beverage business development and marketing. I offer a 360-degree perspective and has deep industry knowledge in the consumer, retail, hospitality, and foodservice arenas.
My path has taken me from working in restaurants and heading up the communications team at the International Association of Culinary Professionals in Louisville, KY, before stepping into the agency world, where I developed a reputation for problem-solving, team work, creativity, and multi-channel campaign development.
I understand the way brands connect with their audiences and can synthesize high-level strategy to deliver sales-driven results. I have produced results, for blue chip companies, international commodity boards, and start-ups alike.
Currently as Business Growth Consultant I work with international companies coming to US market, strategy, channel development, branding, marketing and related communications, while keeping their core brand DNA intact.
As a #realfood advocate, I’m particularly adept at educating audiences about natural foods, sustainability practices, and clean eating. I know food and move effortlessly from desk to dining table, and from a keyboard to whisk!
