I started off as a photographer, received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and continue to photograph and exhibit. Here's a portfolio, an interview, and a great article about the buddies I have been photographing on the road with since -- yikes! -- with one of them, since 1971! Here are some snaps from this year's trip.

In my second life I studied Literature, received a PhD from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and taught American Studies in Berlin and Brandenburg for almost 20 years. Here's a link to my favorite article from those days, Multiculturalism, Inc..

In my third life I am Guest Professor of Computer Science and Strategy at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.  I help students learn how about modern business applications systems and professional communications, as you will find on Lots of WebWork.

After eight years of taking lots of tango lessons I guess I should confess to a fourth life on the dance floor as well. On my dance page I share my favorite videos these days and hope you will enjoy viewing them!
