As a former athlete, I’ve seen up close and personal how financial illiteracy claimed the riches of a few of my teammates and other prominent sports figures. I understand that their irresponsible and uninformed decisions will inevitably doom future generations to repeat the same mistakes. I am also aware that this will continue to render my community incapable of wealth accumulation or at the very least the ability to attain financial security. After making several costly mistakes myself, I decided to pursue a deeper understanding of business, economics, and finance to stop what I have termed the “Vicious Cycle”. As a financial advisor, advocate, and educator, I am committed to providing everyone the blueprint to building and sustaining wealth.

I was a columnist for Al Punto, a Spanish/English magazine where I wrote about the dangers and pitfalls of sub prime mortgages and predatory lending practices. In addition, I also hosted “The Mortgage Minute”, a radio segment that mirrored my column. I also partnered with Citizens for Action during tax season, counseling low-income families on banking policies. I continue my advocacy by serving on the community advisory board for HomeCorp, an organization that helps low-income families realize their dream of home ownership. In addition, I’ve started My Legacy Financial Literacy Camp for youth and currently writing a book entitled, The Vicious Cycle-The Chronicle of America’s financial Illiteracy, Volume 1.

For more than a decade, I’ve helped individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits reach their goals through financial education and coaching. I’ve lectured at Rutger’s University for the Young Men’s Leadership Conference and at UMDNJ‘s Young Father’s Program. I’ve embarked on a speaking career preaching the importance of proper financial planning and investing.
