In my work my goals are straightforward — to create better and more human experiences with technology, and to build and empower the teams to make it happen.

My strengths are in engineering leadership, organization design, mobile design and development, technology research and customer prototyping, product architecture, and Slack emojis 🌮, with a particular knack for translating between engineering, marketing, design, and executive teams.

After my time at Apple where I helped launch the iPhone developer platform, I left to launch a series of successful mobile product & development startups. I later led the mobile & web engineering teams and technology innovation at the global coffee giant Starbucks, and most recently helped make homebuying more simple, certain, and cost-effective, leading the Engineering and Data Science teams at Knock.

People are the central focus of my technology leadership: I strive to build strong, diverse, and talented teams that love what they do, that develop deep empathy for their customers, and that feel supported in bringing their best selves to their work.

I'm an avid scuba diver and PADI Divemaster, a growing photographer, a terrible musician, and a wandering world traveler, and you’ll often find me hacking on Swift, React Native, and web3 tech, or tinkering on small electronics.
