Bryan Fortay

Bryan Fortay is an optimistic change agent, strategic legal guide and high performance team builder dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers. He is an attorney with global top 100 law firm experience and 16 years practical and in-house legal, complex claims and litigation program management experience. He has also had full P&L responsibility for global services organizations. A strong focus on people engagement and talent maximization is the hallmark of Bryan’s career. He has been described by his supervisors as “one of the greatest people leaders I have worked with” and “razor sharp” and by many subordinates as “the best manager I have had.”

A well respected public speaker, Mr. Fortay has been invited to speak on claims, loss control, business management, building effective teams, motivation and leadership for Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies and financial organizations across the world including General Electric Capital Corporation and the Florida Bankers’ Association. He has also been featured on ESPN's nationally televised Outside the Lines.

He has also been a champion for minority and female owned businesses. He spearheaded inclusion programs for 15 years, executing capacity and mentor programs for Miami Dade County Florida and Chatham County Georgia and training MWSBEs for the City of Atlanta, the NYC Department of Economic Development and American Community Partnerships.

Bryan is a former collegiate and professional athlete. He was a high school first team All American quarterback and a Junior Heisman Trophy winner. He was the first true freshman to earn a varsity letter at quarterback for the University of Miami and a member of the University of Miami's 1989 National Championship team. After transferring from Miami to Rutgers, he threw for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdown passes for the Scarlet Knights. He also was a member of the Frankfurt Galaxy of the WLAF where he won a championship in 1995.
