Breann Schossow

Madison, WI

Schossow currently serves as the interim producer of Wisconsin Public Radio's The Larry Meiller Show is an executive board member of the Society of Professional Journalists - Madison Pro chapter. She also coordinates SPJ's Region 6 Mark of Excellence awards.

Schossow has reported for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel andWisconsin Public Radio News, produced for WPR's Joy Cardin Show, worked as a weekend assignment editor at WKOW-27, and helped research Barbara Bradley Hagerty's upcoming book , "Life Reimagined: The Science, Art, and Opportunity of Midlife" (Release Date: March 2016). Schossow previously reported for Wisconsin Public Radio as the 2013-14 Lee Ester Fellow and interned for National Public Radio, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram. Schossow, who grew up on a dairy farm in southeastern Minnesota, is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She holds an undergraduate degree in journalism and minors in political science and convergent media.

When not looking for her next story, Schossow spends her days drinking coffee, waitressing, and multitasking.
