Burl Brim

Born in Canyon, Texas, Burl Brim spent his teenage years in Ashland, Oregon, while his father led as the education department chairman at Southern Oregon State College. Following high school, Burl Brim attended Southern Oregon State College and studied engineering.

During the early stages of his career, Mr. Brim worked for various construction companies, including Bowman and Weaver Construction and Hardesty Excavating. He spent 15 years in the construction industry before establishing his first business. Mr. Brim earned his initial contract with Walmart and traveled throughout Oregon completing excavation projects. Within a few years, he earned his first subdivision assignment, which took him to southern Oregon and parts of northern California to complete contracts.

While leading his private company, Mr. Brim became passionate about flying. He spent much of his spare time in Montague, California, logging valuable flight time. Following a decade, he earned the commercial rotorcraft and CFI certificates. Purchasing a Robinson R22 helicopter, he transitioned his career to focus solely on aircraft and founded Brim Aviation in 1994. Under his guidance, Brim Aviation has developed into a firm that aids and trains law enforcement for rescue missions around the world.
