ButterCup Shandon

ButterCup Cafe Shandon is an independent Cafe situated in the center of Cork City's 'Shandon Cultural Quarter'. Just outside the door you will find the Firkin Crane, the Cork Butter Museum, the Shandon Bells (St Anne's Church) and the North Cathedral in all their glory! Inside we offer an array of culinary delights from home baked Scones and Croissants to more substantial Cooked Breakfast, hand made Sandwiches and Pizza's. There are always tasty treats available like Cupcakes, Flapjacks and Brownies, and really tasty Coffee, Tea and Milkshakes. We also serve wine. So whether you are visiting the sights of the 'Shandon Cultural Quarter' or working in the area pop in and say hello. You'll be made most welcome.

ButterCup is owned and run by Cliodna Moynihan, Cliodna bakes all the Scones's, Cakes and Cookies by hand in the Little ButterCup Kitchen each day. She also handmakes Brown Bread and Gluten Free Bread.

We also deliver, so if your stuck in the office for lunch give us a call. We cover corporate events such as lunch and breakfast meetings and ofer diferent sulotions for these occasions. Cliodna also produces one of masterpiece Cakes for your special occasion, Birthday, Anniversary etc.
