The road you see is really me - I am constantly travelling. Not within countries, but within the appealing domain of IT Service Management and IT Governance. As Robin Williams sings: The Road ahead is empty, it is paved with miles of the unknown...
Why I wanted to become an IT Service Manager, you say?
'As an IT Service Manager you are the leading professional in an organization with a good focus on the design of IT Management processes and the steering of underlying activities'. This interesting sentence triggered my interest to become an Expert IT Service Manager and to drive my career in this direction. It became more than an ambition, it became a passion.
I am, and probably always will be a Service Management Consultant, with a great focus on People, Processes & Technology. I am interested in competence management and coaching within the vast domain of IT Service Management and Governance. Intricate problems at customers within this domain intrigue me a lot and I will do anything to help customers to reach a higher maturity level within their organisation.
My ultimate goal is to lead or join a group of IT consultants specialised within this domains of expertise. The road towards my goal is equally rewarding and interesting. It is a difficult road, but with a lot of learning opportunities.
