Candi Stargell was named the 2nd Place Winner of the Toni Brown Memorial Scholarship awarded by Peter Murphy's Poetry and Prose Winter Getaway in 2010. Candi's Little Darby Mouse Goes to Big School, the first book within the character and value focused series, was successfully funded via Kickstarter in 2012. Indulging in other genre's like young adult fiction and screenwriting, she's always developing fierceness to unleash.

Ohio born and Georgia grown, Candi is a faith driven writer and proud graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in Speech Communication (AB) and Psychology (BS) as well as a Masters Degree in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business. Her mother wants you to know that that hope springs eternal hat she will use these degrees someday.
